Over the course of two decades, Jack brought passion and authenticity to the NESN broadcast each night as you narrated so many unforgettable moments and memories for B’s fans across New England.
Jack is one of a dying breed. I always appreciated the passion and energy he brought to every game. I always got the sense that he was genuinely excited to call each and every game. He loved the Bruins and hockey in general, and it showed in each call. One of the greats.
I was sick of the haters on YouTube having no clue. I always defended Jack by making my opinion clear that he turns watching a Bruins game into an experience. His passion for the team and knowledge of the game is amazing. Thank you Jack, I'm hearing you now as the Bs vs Senators begins.
I have never seen this man but I remember the iconic voice when my boys penguins vs bruins you will be missed sir much love from a small farming town in ontario
Thank you for everything Jack. The funny moments, the hilarious things you say always bring a smile to my face. I can't believe you're retiring, but we all do at some point. Best of luck in retirement, I wish you the best of luck in retirement, and keep the family safe. We'll miss you. Nobody will ever replace you.
I’m glad he’s moving on, hope they figure out what’s going on with his health BUT I am looking forward to hearing someone else call the games. NEVER liked listening to him and always sought the opposition’s feed. 🥳

It was time. Great in his prime.
Jack is the man who called the games of my childhood, and even though he's retiring, his voice will always be in those memories😢
Not going to be the same next season…..
Unfortunately this feels like a health-induced retirement. For the sake of him and his family, I hope it's not too serious.
Thanks for the memories, Jack
Congrats from this Sabres fan. I know what an announcer means to a city as we just lost RJ. Godspeed Jack.
Gonna miss Jack😢 Absolute legend

Edwards is just a piece of crap, as an announcer. Good riddance!!
Great commentators!!! Such energy!
Andy needs the glass between them so Jack doesn’t tackle him when he gets excited.
