The New Jersey Devils lost their final game of the season, falling to the New York Islanders by a score of 4-1 at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
The NY Islanders are playoff bound, the NJ Devils are golf bound.
It is going to be a long and painful Summer for sure.

The only positive is that hopefully we won't have to see those ugly black uniforms again.
Thankfully the seasons over that was a rough game to watch … we better see a completely diff team next year.. fitz worries me that hes so focused on the goalie im more worries about filling out the roster..

This team has gotten worse it seems like we didnt generate any shots towards the ends of the year… im not trying to hate on the islanders but i see them getting bounced again first round..
Pathetic effort by this team, not surprised by the outcome. The Fitzgerald interview made me nauseous. I thought Shero was bad, but this guy has him beat. Glad its over, it became painful to watch. Tired of hearing about windows from the GM and growing pains from the interim head coach. Half the team are well seasoned veterans so hopefully there growth wont be too painful.

I don't know what much else can be said about this Team this season, some people needing to be RKO'd into the garbage at the back of the stores around the Rock xD .
I hope youre doing well!, In a odd twist, the Drinks taste better with the Bitterness. Would it be odd though in a bright spark, I got some good feels about Meier potentially for next season? But i still want the whole team to Take a walk of shame on the Golf course And come back better. I dont want the 22/23 Devils coming back from there, they can ride into the sunset.
and maybe stick fitzgerald in one of the holes and leave him there too , he can make his own way back xD.
We need a stream where we all try to calculate how many amtrack points our goalies have racked up over the season.
When I try to remember the most boring game this year, I'll always remember this one
The pain is over, I really hope next season we get what we have been waiting for and didn’t really get this year
Firing Lindy was a great idea. This team is f'd until Fitz and Harris/Blitzer js gone. No real coach will come to a team that doesn't even give them a full season after setting the franchise record. Lindy was the best coach for this team, and the team was completely uninspired after he was fired. Even with all the injuries and bad goaltending, he had them in the playoff race. P.S. Sharongovich had 30 goals this season and Toffoli is gone.
FIRE FITZ! SELL THE TEAM!
Fitzgerald needs to have a great summer or he’ll be out of a job too. Changes are coming and I can’t wait.

U really think the isles can make a run.. i dont see that team getting past carolina that would be a huge suprise.. i really have no hate toward the isles but i dont think there a very good team..
I remember your first video last year around this time, and have been following the channel ever since. Great content and a welcome addition to the Devils family. I too have followed the team since 1994 ending in that crazy Rangers series. I agree that this year as a whole was the worst one since missing the playoffs after the 95 cup, maybe worse. This is going to be a huge summer for the team. If Fitz can get it right, this year will make the ride ahead all the sweeter! LGD!
Went to this game undercover in an Islanders retro jersey I got for dirt cheap just to be a clown as I cheered on the Devils. Made some Devils fans laugh in the process.
Otherwise got myself a bucket hat during the 40% off sale they had at the Den and my friends won some giveaways. Was a fun time but the game itself was definitely not easy to watch.

It’s finally over… this team needs to finally take a consistent meaningful step forward. I am tired of the “young” excuses. I am tired of missing the playoffs. I am tired of mediocrity. I am tired. For lack of a better term, this team needs to “man up” and do better. Fitz has some serious work to do. Thanks for the videos this season!
