The New York Rangers with Matt Rempe back in the lineup faced off against the New York Islanders in a game that ended with some karma. #hockey #newyorkrangers #newyorkislanders
Go Rempe Go! To belittle him to just a goon is silly. He's only played 16 games in the NHL. There's a lot of adjustments that have to happen for any player and he's coping well. 4/8 on faceoffs is pretty good for a young guy and yeah, I'm cheering that he gets to and stays above 50%. With Ranger coaches and trainers, Rempe can develop into a 12+ season player and I think he will. He has really good hockey sense. He screens the goalie without taking away opportunities. He's fast even if it doesn't look like it. His hands/stick work aren't too bad for a young guy. And his passion for the game is outstanding. In regard to his fighting record, keep in mind that he's the new Sheriff in hockey town. There are a lot of old gunslingers that wanna test their mettle and Rempe is a guy that will accept the challenge when it benefits the club. When it doesn't benefit the club, he doesn't drop gloves. Ya can't ask for more than that!

Re-uploaded to reframe video about Trochek
such a vicious shoulder elbow 💀. Noah Dobson cross check was a 4 minute penalty maybe a game-miss conduct.
Over and Out 🙂
Trocheck was tripped…………ill never forget. NEVER.
Rempe is the perfect addition to this team. He does everything, but just being a presence at 6’8” does great things. Love it! LGR!!!
Say what ever you want about Rempe but it seems like the Rangers are grittier overall when he is suited up.
Wow he won a faceoff??? Sorry Bedard no ROY for you!!!
Rempe reminds me so much of Probert back in the day. A firecracker of a player who can disrupt play on or off the ice.
Go Rempe Go!
