Some pretty pointed questions by Russo. Hynes doesn’t give much beyond the typical platitudes, but that’s to be expected.

I think Hynes deserves a shot at a full season. Mans came in and did a good job all things considered. He gave Faber and Rossi a good chance and both of them have succeeded he experiments and takes risks. Still has some of those Deano moments of sticking to his guys but I wanna see what a full season might look like. Not one where he has to pull the team out of massive hole left for him and deal with tons of injuries.

Does anyone have more context around the comments on Gus’ practice habits in the article? I don’t remember those being called out before.

Hynes has done nothing in his NHL career to warrant four years. Dean had a much better win %. BG should have waited and taken a closer look at David Carle. He would have been a great fit for the upcoming youth movement(greatest prospect pool in history).

I often wonder if we should’ve fired Bruce way back when. Seems like he’d be better for the organization than any of the coaches we’ve had since. He really paid the price for some awful GM moves.

The quote about Öhgren is so funny. *”First of all, he’s jacked. He can skate. Very smart. I see the skill, the two-way game. I can’t wait to see the guys in training camp, especially Liam.”*
