  1. I have a suggestion I think could solve the problems the Canucks are having integrating Lindholm into the lineup, and finding balance on the lines. The experiment with Lindholm centering Petterson’s line didn’t work, because Petterson is best at center, and its risky asking him to go against heavier players on the wall and the forecheck. (where Lindholm isn’t great either) And Lindholm is a waste of talent on the 3rd line. Blueger should center that line anyway when Joshua’s back, since they (with Garland) were so dynamic together.

    So here’s my thoughts …

I think they should move Podkolzin up to wing on the first line, and move Lindholm to center the second line. That way both top 2 lines have a skilled first-line center (Petterson, Lindholm) and strong wingers who can forcheck and work the wall. (Podz, Hoggy, Miller, & Boeser) Miller can still take some draws, but he loves charging up the wing anyway, and plays a heavier game.

That way the top 3 lines are balanced, and Suter and Mikhayev drop down to the 4th with Lafferty, to create a skilled and fast 4th line (with Di Guiseppe in reserve)

  2. Vancouver fans fell in love with Garland and now Garland fell in love with Vancouver. That's how heart n soul players are born.

  3. Just change the pronunciation from Arizona Coyotes (Ky-yoteez)to the Utah Coyotes (Ky-yote's). Maybe save Coyotes (Kyoots) for the next move. Lol!
