Oilers fans were salty as fuck after losing, screaming that they deserved to win and that we’re a garbage team.

Sorry we have a team with depth and an actual NHL caliber goaltending tandem 🤷‍♂️

That was a fun one to watch. Both goal tenders played pretty well, and the score could have been higher. I love that they got the empty net before Skinner even made it to the bench.

Oilers played well and you could imagine that with McDavid it would have been more of a contest.

But as it was, Canucks had more control of that game, as well as the majority of Grade-As. Goaltenders bailed out both teams on a few occasions, but it never felt like the Canucks were chasing the game.

The Canucks played the exact type of hard forechecking game that suits them, and the results show it.

Darnell Nurse chews gum and eats peanuts at the same time.

I think the oilers are.going to have a tough time in round one no matter who they play, their D are so soft on puck retrievals, McDavid and Draistl bail them out by being the low support centerman. Also the McDavid being there makes it a different game argument from oiler fans is super annoying, of course having the best player in the world makes your team better but having a vezina candidate goalie in the line up would’ve made it a different game too.

  7. How has Lindholm looked since coming back from injury?

I’m not here to rag on Petey and I think he played well last night but for a guy who wants to win and make all this money he really doesn’t inspire confidence when the puck is on his stick in the third period.

I really hope come playoffs prove me wrong and he can show a little more life and drive. When Hughes or Miller or Hög or Garland are out there leaving it all on the ice it’s a bit frustrating to watch our all star look lifeless.

That being said love lindholms last couple games and big win for the boys let’s keep it rolling into the playoffs
