I remember watching the 97 season and the Cup run. Vladdy was one of my favorite players on the roster. His loss was devastating. This return is so bittersweet. Love to see it, but I still wonder what might have been.

He was my favorite player as a kid. Didn’t follow hockey for a long time, and always casually wondered what happened to him. Re-learning how his career ended as an adult (hey, we didn’t get internet til like 2009) was really devastating.
