The surprise? There’s no surprises , he isn’t going back to college and the habs are forced to sign him, or he could walk as soon as next year if they don’t treat him well

Is it just me or I'd give reindbacher mailloux and Hutson a full season together in the ahl and build up a chemistry… trade away some vets this summer and hopefully draft top 10 again next year….

That signing didn’t help the habs whatsoever , he burn through a year of contract , will become UFA a year earlier with 3 games left in the season and with all the congestion on the back end , a lot of guys are going to be unhappy with their ice time and where they play Laval or Montreal

I’ve seen Adam Engström play for Rögle a few times and he stood out every time. I think he’s got a great future in the nhl not necessarily with Montreal though.
Very happy with the signing. I get hes small but thats not the point. Hes really a offensive quarterback. Thats what we need. He will be like a rookie Quinn Hughes in 24-25. Thats what we will need. 80-90 point defenseman in his prime who replaces Matheson and does better. Thats his celling for me.

Engstrom isnt getting a lot of hype but should. He could end up being a legit Adam Larsson esk player. At least from what ive seen. One of our most complete defensive prospects.
Very excited for Fowler. Grav today just made a video where he ranked him at #4 And made a whole video dedicated towards him. Im not saying his word means it will happen but from what ive heard and seen he looks like a future starter.
I hope they give him the ice time he deserves. Put him on the second power play at least.
