    Any Western Conference has a legitimate argument on why they will win the cup. The East only the Florida teams have a shot at winning the cup.

    Maximum boring first round on the east coast, hard to imagine in it more boring considering everything.

    Tampa-panthers and Islanders- Rangers would be much more exciting.

    And much rather Detroit than Washington in the playoffs

    I personally think this is the rare circumstance that Oilers winning the Pacific would be a *bad thing*. Facing Nashville instead of LA or Vegas, with way more travel time and arguably tougher opponent, would really diminish the odds they win the cup.

    This makes me nervous. I can absolutely see Tampa going to the finals again.

    …and I do not think we’re a shoe in against Florida.

    But I honestly think we’re going to be eliminated in round two by Tampa. That would be the Leafiest playoff ever.
