  1. McKenna and Urias should be DFA'd. Mateo as a CF is RIDICULOUS!!! Why Mateo is still on 40 man is beyond common sense!

  2. Maybe it’s a harsh take, but Mateo, Urias and, McKenna don’t fit on this team. They are blocking players like Mayo, Norby, and Kjerstad. Hopefully, Elias can move them for something, otherwise, just let them go.

  3. The way he's hitting now if you give him 500 at-bats he'd rack up around 180 strikeouts. And that's in spring training. He's not ready yet. The Orioles already strike out way too much.

  4. Good problems to have. The O's depth should mitigate any injuries or slumps – next man up. So, while figuring out who makes the Opening Day roster is fun, they'll be lots of opportunity to get major league playing time.

  5. Good break down Connor, a lot of comments this spring have been regarding trades. Not that we are going to see anything major, but if you or anyone reading this could mention what mlb teams have position player needs that could make a win/win trade for both teams.

  6. I think Norfolk is going to be even better this year than last year. Legit prospects throughout the rotation and with position players. They had that last year, but even moreso this year. More prospects and less 4A guys. And more at AA that will potentially filter to Norfolk as the year goes: Seth Johnson, Trace Bright, Alex Pham, Samuel Basallo, Jud Fabian, Dylan Beavers. Take a moment and compare this year's Norfolk roster to the early 2000's Ottawa roster. The organization is centuries better than then

  7. Getting Means and Bradish back could be in season additions without making trades, maybe one in April and one in June. Would be nice to just focus on adding a reliever at the deadline

  8. Conner, I there anybody who received more hype in the history of the O's than Jackson Holliday?
I hope it dies down once the season gets started so we can talk baseball. Its so bad that they
    making up suppositions and projections.

If Jackson makes the roster out of ST & goes wire to wire he'll get the MLB record for the
youngest (20 yr. old) to do it. Can somebody find out if he ever had a pimple? We really need
    to know.

  9. Feel like everyone involved in the Orioles are too attached to backup players at the big league level who arent good enough to start but somehow can keep a spot away from draft picks who are absolutely mashing.

  10. Jackson is having fun. Good to see it. I've been holding back on the concern for the starters. None of them have looked great in Spring Training really. I guess these veteran pitchers can turn it on like a light switch. Hope so anyway when the regular season starts. Opening day roster announcement should be fun. Go Birds!

  11. If you're right and Holiday makes the team, which he should, and Mateo makes the team, which he shouldn't, then that leaves one one spot for an outfielder. I presume that will be Cowser, not McKenna.
