I’ve had faith in GMDW since we made the playoffs in ‘18. The fact remains that the team has become better year over year since that first playoff berth.
Ultimately, creating a winning professional sports team is like turning a cruise liner. You can’t do it on a dime and there’s a lot of moving pieces. IE: LET DON COOK!!!!

We STAN Civ. Her coverage when she was with the Athletic blows tooth boy out of the water.
Don has a decent track record that you can just about pinpoint during the trade season. This year he knew that it was all in. Not only bringing in Kuzy and Jake but also signing our top 3 prospects (soon Nishikin too with a big fingers crossed).
I think the we like our group stuff was fine. Made a conference final 2/6 but have definitely under performed the years of earlier than we wanted exits. I think the FO is set up for a sustained level of success(whether that’s just making the playoffs or winning championships) not yet seen in NC pro sports history.
