If the Pens somehow manage to make the playoffs, Crosby is the only option for the Hart.
Whichever player makes in further in the playoffs should get the hart even though the hart is a regular season trophy, when its this close id count the playoffs too.
To me the Hart is between McDavid and MacKinnon. Kucherov shouldn't even be in the running. 127 points and only a +5 isn't someone I'd call an important member of any team when both other guys are +32
Hilarious that this guy thinks game winning goals is a component of analytics.
My two cents: Only Gretz / Lem / Orr have ever reached 100 points. It should be open and shut but for many reasons it won't be McDavid. Desire to give it to a player for "body of work" and "voter fatigue".
These guys seems to be basing their whole argument based on vibes.
If you're throwing analytics into the mix, its even more in favour of McDavid.
These clowns don't know fuck all, sheeesh
Guy on the right seems like he has no clue what point he's trying to make the whole time. Also McDavid has the same +/- as Mack but he didn't want to mention that
3 blabbering idiots
Kuchover the other two? Nope. This year it does have a lot to do with who wins art Ross? It truly does. Mcdavid was hurt first 20 games, McKinnon would’ve won it hands down if he tied gretzkys record of him games with a point.
100 assists in a season only been done by 3 players. But please go on….. oilers make playoffs without 97? MORON. When 97 was cold at beginning of season they were last place.
Complete disrespect to Artemi Panarin not even mentioning him, Austin Matthews getting mentioned is laughable.
Tampa is a wildcard team as is. Of course, they probably don't make the playoffs if you remove their best offensive player.
It’s mackinnon
Kuch is easily the “most valuable” to his team
Mac & McDavid are on stacked teams. Tampa only has like 7 or 8 guys left from their Cup win, with a decimated D core and bottom six. Kucherov is carrying the Lightning on his back.
Kucherov just set the single season NHL record for assists by a winger. He has 88 assists with 7 games left. It's very possible he also breaks 100 assists…as a fucking WINGER.
Mcdavid has twice as many hits as either, more take-aways and is equal to mackinnon on +/- mcdavid also draws more penalties and has more 5 on 5 points
No Mac, no Druin. And the Moose is not anywhere near 100 points. Plus, he took on the C role while the cap is rehabbing. Ask anyone on the team, Mac changes the culture and inspire everyone to work harder.
Jokic/Mckinnon both win MVP…Nuggets/Avs both make the Finals-this all could seriously happen.
Fact! without McDavid the Oilers come in last place, every player on the Oilers roster are products of McDavid.
