I’ve been critical of Georgie but Bednar knows better than I do (or anyone on the sub) what the team’s problems are so if he says Georgie is solid I’ll shut up about him.

He’s our guy, like it or not. No way a coach would smash his confidence by playing games with reducing his scheduled starts the rest of the season or saying anything that puts doubts in Georgies head.
He started the game with an intensity I hadn’t seen since the beginning of the season. For some reason, he’s getting some impossible tips that no goalie would block.
The D is 100% responsible for some of Georgies issues but there have been some recent goals he just has to stop or we won’t make it out of the first round.
I expect Juice will get some first round action. We may see more of him if he plays lights out.

Bednar’s a straight shooter. He knows both have to be better but he knows for sure what our problem last night was.

Our defense went from smothering 2-3 years ago to not playing that great. Any X’s and O’s guys have any schematic analysis that they can provide? The defense is WAY too talented to be playing like this.

Turn overs and allowing to many odd man rushes definitely didn’t help. The problem last night, however, was dumb penalties and a bad PK. Stars were 3/3.
