I’m from Calgary and this was my first time seeing a game in Detroit (also first time being here since I was 9 and that was almost 20 years ago). Needless to say I was impressed. Here’s hoping our new arena will be half as good as your new rink. Thanks Detroit for showing me a good time this weekend and I hope you hang on and make the playoffs! 🐙

Two awesome coincidences- I just went to Calgary for the first time to see them retire Kiprusoff’s number, the Saddledome was awesome! The other is that I’m actually sitting about ten seats to your right in this photo, today! Glad you had a great time!
