This account is really good for playoff scenarios for the Islanders. They provide what we need to make the playoffs.
Today, we got a WSH OT loss, lowering the Magic Number to 9. If we win out, we’d be in a playoff spot because the Magic Number is lower than the Tragic Number, where if that hits 0, we are eliminated from the playoffs.
Very useful especially during this time of the season.

5 teams vying for 2 spots (one of them a division spot that Detroit can’t get into) and 4 games where 2 teams in the race play each other. It is… messy. There are a lot of potential combinations.
Should be fun! Might be even more fun if we didn’t have a rooting interest in one of the teams
