“I love the excitement, but is there a plan B? What if you aren’t able to obtain that land?” asked Soto.
“This is it. This is the plan or else we are going to have to explore relocation of this organization,” said Gutierrez.
“If I understand correctly, this is the last hurrah. If this doesn’t happen, essentially, you’ve got to start looking at other avenues of the coyotes possibly leaving Arizona?” asked Soto.
“Absolutely. And we’ve made that very clear, and I think everyone should be aware of that. That this is it,” Gutierrez replied.

At least they’re being honest. I dig it

Waiting for the auction
I think it’s bullshit because Mesa offered them a place without voting involved so they’re commitment to stay is questionable to me.
Edit:Â We’ve been here for so long that this person comes in and within the first couple years decides to pull the plug if they can’t get something on the second try.
Sorry for Not being professional but I put up with too much for them to think about bailing so quickly.
More like they’ll be forced to sell if this doesn’t go through. SLC already has a buyer with the money who wants a team. Why would they want to deal with Meruelo and his circus? And there’s no way the NHL is going to let them relocate with the same ownership. I’m hoping for the best. I wish we could get an owner who cared more about hockey than gambling and real estate though.
