Aren’t the phantoms in a playoff spot? Or a “play in spot”. I thought the first 2 teams in the division get byes and then the last 4 play each other in a best of 3. Right now the phantoms would be in that spot. It sounds like you guys are saying they have no shot and have to win 12 out of 14 games. I don’t understand why.
Enjoyed the show, you two. I agree. I'm disappointed that more players didn't get a shot, or more playing time. I guess that will happen next season? Can we discuss Torts' track record? He seems to do well during the regular season, but not the playoffs. Yes, he did win the Cup with Tampa, but how many vets retired after that season…lol? He doesn't seem to work well with the younger players, and is unwilling to adjust the teams play during game time situations. He does get credit for cleaning up the locker room, however after that the results seem just meh. Short term winning has a short term impact. The more things change…..
