Mark Scheifele instigator penalty on Nicolas Hague – Tough Call Review
The instigator rule has a real purpose and I love it. I’m even ok with over calling it. I still feel players should be able to go over send a message without a fight being assumed.

Bull crap
I don't understand "forced to drop his gloves". Neither of them were forced.
I think an instigator should only be given on plays where there isn't a prior penalty for a hit/other infraction.
Elbow to the head… 5 and a game, all day. the 2-minute minor call was crap, and the Instigator call was crap.
You're a knucklehead and obviously never played hockey. That's CLEARLY an instigator.
