  1. I’m glad Shannon breaks up the reviews on the late west coast games. Especially the ones that are sleep inducing.

  2. I saw Josi score right away then it was something like 20-9 in the Blues favor, shots on net in the 1st when I turned in. I figured Nashville would turn it up again, afterward and in particular stop turning the puck over so often in their own zone.

Who had Pittsburgh climbing the charts after dealing Guentzel? I certainly didn’t. 😮

  3. The same young players that got the caps to this point are the same ones playing like they’ve never played hockey before now. These last two loses have hurt bad.

  4. The Bolts are the hottest team in the NHL since the deadline and none of the talking heads are happy about it. Let alone other fan bases, lol! It's crazy that Tampa Bay is the 12th biggest TV market (it will be top 10 after the next census) and still gets treated like it's in the bottom 5. Every single person that sets foot in our metro area says that this is 100% a "Hockey Town" and with it being one of the fastest growing areas in the country, we aren't going away, much to everybody's disappointment. The Cap is going up just in time to keep Stammer and Heddy (both still playing at an All-Star level) and still build for the future as they play out their HoF careers right here in the Hockey Bay, USA. It's pretty fun being the heel of the league with Vegas, as much as I hate being associated with that giftwrapped franchise.

  5. As a sens fan at that Panthers game, it was one of the only games I've ever been to that I wanted to leave early (I didn't).
Florida was playing vs. kids against Ottawa and it was never close from the start

  6. Hello Puckheads!
Well CAR and the CAPS kept me from a perfect night (7-2) and 664-471-75 (57.98%)

  7. The Metro has a major logjam for the 3rd spot, and all the teams have a less than easy (or outright brutal) remaining schedule.

  8. Buffalo is 6 points back of the Isles despite having two more wins. Yeah, the Isles are simply OT merchants…

  9. Eastern Conference never disappoints. Look at the conference now, so many teams can move up or down and it's anyone's game for Atlantic #3 spot, as well as the Wild Card #2. Still enough time for Boston to take the Conference and put NYR to second place. So wild compared to what the West looks like.

  10. Are the Pens and Capitals now reunited and attached at the hip again? Pittsburgh got lonely when Washington tried to move on. Crosby was like not so fast Ovechkin you are still mine. If we can't make the playoffs no one can! Very jealous ex girlfriend if you ask me.

  11. Side note. I saw this last night. I need some help with math. On Esppppn they have Montreal eliminated from the playoffs. They have 7 games left…at least I think. 82 games in the season right? That equals 14 potential points. They have 70 points. 14 plus 70 is 84. Right now the 8th seed has 83 points. Isn't 84 a bigger number then 83? What am I missing here? Is my entire concept of NHL standings my whole life been wrong? Yes I get that for them to run the table is unlikely, but not mathematically impossible. The only thing I can come up with is they are saying all the teams ahead of them have no combination of not getting to 84 points with all the games left for all the teams that can finish ahead of them for the 8th seed. Too lazy to look at all those teams and games.
