  1. Not a Habs fans but Kucherov may be one of the least liked superstars in the league. Thought he was sneaky dirty, now I believe he is no longer sneaky!

  2. Some players and some teams seem to get way more respect and allowances than others, and right now Tampa is favoured. But boy oh boy, Montreal had their times too.

  3. @Johnny Hawkey i'm a tampa guy, and have watched the nhl since 1980.

living in southern ontario, i have way more of a tremendous amount of respect for the MTL fans than TOR fans.

at least with habs fans overall, they actually care and want their team to do well.
TOR pylon fans need to be the center of attention, play the victim and can never take responsibility for anything wrong they do

habs fans that are still bellyaching about kucherov today or from 2021 are just trying to cope that their team was not that good now or back in the 2021 scf.

i actuaally like a number of guys on the MTL roster, namely guhle and arber, suzuki. gotta few years awat to be in the p-off's but MTL
is on the right path with gm hughes.

cheers from southern ontario, canada 🍁

  4. Habs fans get very salty over nothing all the time, so this doesn't come as a surprise either

  5. It should be the end of Kucherov's regular season but lets face it. There is 0 real chance of that happening, knowing the NHL they won't even look into it. The officials are so busy looking for phantom calls every night so they can be a deciding factor in games yet miss something this blatant? If an injury occurs on the ice and no call is made the war room should be able to call down and force the officials to pay attention. Then shit like this doesn't get a free pass. The official is staring right at it. 0% chance he didn't see it.

  6. by the time montreal is a playoff team, tampa will be a bottom feeder.. habs should be in playoffs in a couple years

  7. kucherov always been a dirty little prick lol… hes rides the highs with confidence and rides the lows being a whiney little sob having childlike tantrums when he loses

  8. If a Canadian player (not Russian) hit a guy like that would you be complaining??

  9. 'I don't want to say all Montréal Canadiens fans dislike Nikita Kucherov~"

They do. I'm a leaf fan, we don't like him either. Its just the rules.

  10. The Habs player literally looked a Kuch and kept himself vulnerable, what was Kuch supposed to do not hit him lol, the suspension talk is complete bullshit. I agree it probably should’ve been a penalty…a minor one. Maybe the Habs player should’ve protected himself better instead of make himself more vulnerable. Can’t wait for all the Canadians to get all salty 😂

  11. Not only it is a hit from behind but Guhle had already got rid of the puck at the time Kucherov hits him. There is a few seconds delay where Kucherov had the time to make a decision to hit Guhle or not. IMHO, this was beyond finishing a check. Kucherov did it on purpose.

  12. Yep that's even more stupidly dirty than that idiot Eyssimont blaming & trying to fight Xhekaj for the trip/collision on Hagel entirely caused by Stamkos losing his balance after merely being rubbed (not even hit).
Tampa has a very good team led by an even greater coach, they shouldn't have to stoop that low so often.

  13. That hit was fine in my books, players need to worry about their own safety out there and not be reliant on refs to keep them safe.

With that said, players need to respect eachother a bit more and realize this ain't NHL24 and that dirty hits ( Rempe) have real life consequences.

  14. Not suspendable imo, but should have been a 2 for boarding. Guhle had the puck skating foward facing the boards making himself extremely vulnerable. At what point is the onus on the player to protect themselves? If a player skates down the ice with his head down and back turned along the boards all game should he never be at risk of being blown up? All the babies crying in the comment section would probably say yes but thankfully they aren't in charge of the league

  15. refs are blind..kutch boarded guhle right in from of ref but no call…. refs need accountability

  16. Should be reviewed by the league. The other players should have protected Gule, this is the kind of player who thinks he can get away with anything.

  17. The situation room should be allowed to contact the refs at the next game stoppage and call missed major penalties/ejections

  18. C’mon man…that hit was not dirty AT ALL..and I actually like the Habs! Defenseman was in an awkward position trying to move the puck back as he’s going forward…he was injured because of that combined with a clean hit.

  19. 2 min tops for that hit. It was clear in the numbers, but Guhle was right up against the boards so it was way less dangerous than if he were 4 feet from them. Also it wasnt that hard of a hit, Guhle awkward position made it worse. That is an obvious negative of a Left handed D playing the rught side. Hopefully, Guhle learns from this like Slafkovsky did last years incidents.
