Ryan McDonagh was given a match penalty for this hit to the head of Ross Colton. After review the call was upheld. Was a match penalty the correct call? Have your say!
I just don't see it boys. Interference maybe, but he made contact with colton's shoulder first. Puck heading towards the line. Just remember match penalty is for intent to cause injury to player. McDonaugh has never had a match penalty in his career. Not a dirty player. I do not think the intent is there. Time will tell.
He wasn’t going for the puck at all Colton never touched the puck it was called the way it should have been. Player safety won’t be doing anything else

Nothing at all tough about that call. McDonagh is gonna miss a few for that one.
Doesn't even have the puck. Good thing Colton saw him at the last second and turned away from it, or it would have been much worse. Terrible hit.

Colton never touches the puck and McDonagh hits him in the head. If this is not a suspension, Parros should be fired immediately.

Looks like two guys going for a loose puck and make mutual contact. To me it looks like McDonagh’s shoulder made contact with Colton’s body first.
