Ned is first off the ice today
There is a different vibe in the air at my house. It feels like a playoff elimination game vs the Caps. Similarly Sullivan with Ned forced into the net feels like the "old" Sullivan who knew when to start Murray over Fleury.

When I started out as a goalie in an in house league, I won a championship my first season… not much but it got my feet wet. When we got into the actual team season, there was the looming question of who would start as a goalie, myself, or our veteran goalie of multiple years. He was equally as good at defense, so it was decided I would get a few starts in net. To my surprise and everybody elses, we kept winning games with myself in net and everybody started to take me seriously as a goalie. Not only taking me seriously, but the confidence and morale of the entire team was more motivated and energized. We went into every game with the confidence that we could win and the guys wanted to play solidly in front of me. When I had to, i made the big saves to keep my team in the game, and sure enough, we made our way to the championship, which we won in a shutout victory. As great of a story as it is, it truly does speak to the mental factor of the game and how riding a hot handed goalie motivates the entire team.
Turkey is on the table boys just gotta carve it up.
