Starting to think we should send Detroit our stream clock, like the french sent the Statue of Liberty to the states, as a thank you for selecting zadina over hughes.

Grimy win, love this club, suck on that edmonton

  2. electricnux

We’ve played better in those games vs LA and Dallas than against Yotes and Ducks lmao oh well

  3. hannah_nj

Very happy that Quinn “4 points in 2 games” Hughes is on our team

  4. Alberto_Balsalam

Silvos looking great. Garland is superb.

  5. thesunsetflip

    Hughes was FLYING out there.

When Hughes has his legs in the O-Zone it’s actually one of the most entertaining things on TV

  6. AccomplishedAd4995

i really thought this was the game where we get our depth players going

  7. ClaudeGiroux

Boho would’ve never stood up for Pettersson. JT is the fucking man

  8. Looking at the kings schedule, it’s very likely they overtake Nashville, and I doubt we pass Dallas at this point. Most likely to meet them in the first round, need to make a statement on Saturday.

  9. freeman84

Glad to get the win, but we looked horrible for the most part.

  10. TheRealMrCC

Congratulations Petey for getting your first assist in 5 fucking games.

And because I know the Petey apologists will vote me down… (Elf voice) He’s an angry Bambi.

  11. Rahtgooves

If Demmer isn’t ready Saturday Šilovs should 100% play.

  12. De_Floppss

2nd half of b2b was good, score didnt dictate the game at all.

Some nice rest before a hopeful statement game on saturday

  13. electricnux

    > Canucks improve to 18-3-1 this season when Quinn Hughes has a multi-point game

Legit the MVP of this team and is not even close

  14. thefinalball

Seemed like a lot of Canuck fans out there tonight

  15. shadownet97

I got home and tuned in just to see Garland score that.

    Holy shit. That was amazing.

  16. Ruilin96

For those who said the Canucks are horrible the majority of the game. Did you not notice that the Canucks held the Coyotes to a single digit in shots through 2 period. We had no finishing luck lately and we could’ve easily been up by 3 goals after that. It’s not until the late in the third where we looked tired and played sloppy.

  17. benjowtm

Silovs clearly very clever and switched on. Tandem with Demko is going to be awesome over the next few years.

  18. pavelbure1096

Hoglander is like an angrier Marty St. Louis, He’ going to get 50 goals next year

  19. Stinky_Toes12

People are overreacting on how we played just cuz we didnt score 3 off the draw. Yotes are ass but ingrams still a demon

  20. Lanky-Performer-4557

QH is our savior. That shift of the goal was insane by him.

  21. hugeloadz360

Maybe Garland was Jet Black Jim’s magnum opus after all

  22. >team is called “coyotes”
    >all the players are humans

    ??????

  23. thesunsetflip

Are Blueger and Silovs the only Latvians in the NHL?

  24. Stinky_Toes12

Could demko silovs be the next luongo and Schneider

  25. Darkwingduck48

Yeah I don’t really know how to feel about the Canucks going into the playoffs anymore.

We pulled out the win, so it doesn’t feel like the sky is falling… but at some point it would be nice to see a dominant performance, especially against one of these lower placed teams.

  26. NinCross

Leafs lose, Oilers lose, Canucks win.

Pretty good night. 10/10 would do again.

  27. ProtoMan3

I know we got the W and dominated on paper, but it still became stressful at the end. I miss when we were winning easily. Feels like a lot of the team is snakebit offensively, though I’ll give them leeway for Ingram being a good goalie.

Hopefully Demko’s return will make the team more confident and feel like they can play a more open game.

  28. crap4you

+2 pts plus another Oilers loss. Closer to clinching 1st in the division.

  29. shadownet97

I like DeSmith, don’t get me wrong, but it definitely feels like playing all those games in a row after Demko got hurt started taking a toll on him physically.

He looked solid the first few games taking over #1 duties but then the last few games (especially that Vegas game) he’s looked slower and less agile.

I think he’s great as a back up playing a game or two every five games but man that long stretch where he had to play every game must have been tough on him.

  30. julesieee

Garland is gonna be SO clutch in the playoffs!

    🥵🥵🥵😍😍😍😏😏😏🥰

  31. gybegybe

The people talking about how the Canucks are going to get absolutely dominated in the playoffs are the same people who would throw their jerseys on the ice if they didn’t make the playoffs this year. There is no pleasing a certain breed of human.

  32. Silovs has proven he deserves to have 30 starts next year. Kid has a 2.39/.914 in his 7 starts. Hasn’t been under .900 since his first NHL start against the Rangers.

Potential to be next Luongo/Schneider type of tandem.

Silovs has produced at every level he’s played. I believe he will force a very difficult decision in the next two years on who’s the long term starter. Will result in moving on from Demko or trading Silovs who could have some massive trade value if he plays 30-35 games the next two years at a high level.

  33. wulfstein

For all the trouble scoring, Canucks have been fantastic on the defensive side.

The Coyotes scored 19 goals in the last 3 games and we kept them to 0 goals, 7 shots through 2 periods. On a back to back no less.

  34. metrichustle

Canucks were all over the place and the score really doesn’t tell the full story. We got goalie’d again, but thankfully, Silovs was great.

Hughes is just on a different level compared to everyone else on the team. He’s stepping up offensively and defensively and is ready for the playoffs. Tocc mentioned a few players need to get their game up to speed, and Hughes is definitely not who he is talking about.

    Who is Tocc talking about?

Easily Pettersson. Guy is lost and snake-bitten. All the little things are fine and dandy, but as the expected offensive leader, team needs results. The longer he goes without a goal, the worst it is for him. I really don’t know what is going on. He doesn’t look dangerous at all. He’s not keeping his head up in the play. If it’s a nagging injury, maybe just sit him for a couple games. Because I imagine LA and VGK will grind him down in the post-season. Even EDM will get guys like Nurse and Ekholm on Pettersson 24/7.

  35. TwoFun7778

    Hey boyysssssss

Guess who’s one goal away from 100 in his career?

I’ve been hyping this milestone up for the past month, garlics going to hit 100 career goals by the end of the season, maybe even by the end of the week, and I’m so ready.
