How about pusti on shoot outs? Slick hands and very good shot. Oh wait, I forgot sully doesn't trust him (and im not playing the age card here). Also why has Smith been elevated, doc had a 3 game goal streak and he gets demoted? Plus, smith played in over time the game before. I just dont get the usage/deployment at times.

This is why sully gotta they won't, but he needs to. Refusing to play the players that give u the best chance to win just to play older players like Carter I don't get. Why wouldn't u want to c what u have now in players to c weekday holes need to be filled instead of playing a guy who's retiring is baffling to me.

Yeah Carter is not great but Malkin is pathetic…he just doesn't care and it is quite obvious he is not trying. He's mailing it in and all he cares about is collecting his big paycheque…2 more years of Malkin at $6.1MM…ugghh
How great that the "other shoe" never dropped….watching it when the NYR scored their first goal alot of us were probably expecting that Calgary third period again. Third period meltdowns…..
We will do great just as long as our schedule has us playing the best teams in the league….
It's fair to bash on Malkin, but somewhere Erik Karlsson has to be counting his blessings that people haven't noticed how worthless he is on this team.
As a former Newfoundlander – I appreciated your take on Canadian exceptionalism….it is a blind spot – a defensive posture – like skating backwards and wiggling sticks through life…I hope you confront the GM and the organization directly about this so their can be a monitoring of the GMs media availablity to address this in the coming season and offseason

This is called the BARGAINING stage of grief. Acceptance is when you realize and accept that they are old and slow and we need to rebuild. What's the value in sneaking into the playoffs if you can't advance? The missing points are worthless. The Rangers have 50 wins. That's the goal and the standard.
I remember when Sullivan came in and we were a dumpster fire, he brought up the kids midseason and it gave them a boost and a Stanley Cup. I just don't understand why we didn't bring these younger guys up in January.
Sully isn't open to change, Plain and simple!
