But if they miss out on the playoffs by a point or 2, we'll look back at these losses to Chicago and Montreal as where they blew it
Im just gonna say give Ersson a break and lets kick start the team with Ivan Fedotov
Flyers are getting bitch slapped no one takes ownership
I don't want to hear about gassed the metro does the least travel of any division they all play the set amount of games .what a embarrassment, always frigging excuses on these overpaid bums
For god sakes dealing with something !!!! We fans are dealing with something !!its called the the flyers are shortning our lifespan
I turned off the Montreal game and I turned off this game. I couldn't take it any more too frustrating.
Again, the worst case scenario is happening.
Finishing just outside the playoffs and getting a crap first round pick.
This is what Torts does and for the longterm of the team, exactly what you dont want.
We just went through a decade of middling garbage hockey so what the fuck are we doing here?
8:03 I was at the game last night and when Fedotov skated by us during the warmups, all of us watching erupted in cheers! He heard us and acknowledged us by nodding and waving at us. I think the energy from crowd alone could change the energy of the team if he was in net.
at this point i don't even want them to make the playoffs because they are going to get destroyed.
That can't be used as an excuse as other teams go through the same timeline, however no one expected them to be in a playoff spot.
They have had numerous chances in both games.
Jason, sign me up, play Fedotov! I didn’t expect you to say this but I agree the team needs a boost and this could do it. Great explanation on the skate on post opening goal, love the goalie talk!
Hmm. It is easy to get lost in the ride of this season, but admittedly there was always some concern about the fact that this is such a young team with so many guys who have simply not yet (or not recently) played a full NHL season. They play such a hard, high-skating/tempo style, I almost feel like it was inevitable to see a late-season drop off. The upside is that the Islanders honestly look like they want to win less than we do – their 1st against Tampa last night was BRUTAL. The Caps on the other hand are playing for keeps and not messing around.
They need to move on and flip the script QUICK from the last two games. 2 points against a struggling Islanders team would go a long way.
0 excuses. They just have a lack of takent. They've worked hard, but it will only take you so far.
Why is the PP a disaster, ALL season long???anyone? Coach? Mngmnt?
