Not sure why you called out the Ducks broadcast tbh. They showed an even better angle of the highstick after the following play stopped. They just didn't realize the Ducks weren't on the PP until was play was underway. Can't really blame them since they announced the penalty in the arena. Anyway, the play was complete bs. It's about the 700th high stick they've missed happen to us, so I can't say I'm too surprised they decided to one up themselves and call back a high stick back this time. The NHL is quickly becoming a clown league, and the piss poor reffing is the biggest issue.
I also noticed that McDavid guy is really good at hockey
The refs missed a bloodied Jarvis 4 min penalty when the Canes played the Wings the other day. They were terrible. Patricularly ref #27.
The ref gave Zegras a break, that delayed head reaction could’ve been an embellishment penalty. Nurse got away with one for sure, but RNH clearly was the high stick. Oilers 🏆

The no call is because zegras is a well known baby. I don’t agree with it, but he has that reputation rightfully.
For some reason refs become morons when they work on Ducks games. On a high note, anyone watching Gauthier tear it up in the college ranks? Next year things will start coming together!

Thanks for the video. I was busy watching my alma mater Cornell fail in its 7th consecutive attempt to reach the Frozen Four so I didn’t have time to watch the Ducks. Glad to know Z played great even though he didn’t get any points. I don’t care about Ws or Ls at this point, but am concerned the young players haven’t been scoring.
