I love Torts and wish the Hawks had had a coach like him after Joel Quenneville while at the time the front office claimed to be "roster remodeling", but at the same time I don't think Chicago's sports writers and reporters could handle Torts's style, especially when one of the Chicago reporters is notorious for asking incredibly stupid questions on a consistent basis.
I love Torts. I'm glad he's here BUT sometimes I wish he'd not act aloof about his own roster especially when it comes to goaltending. You're the HEAD coach. You can't dismiss answer an easy question about your own top goaltending prospect. Are you really only concerned about the next game and not foreshadowing back-to-backs and who gets the start, standings, etc.? I think he plays dumb sometimes and he's too smart for that.
