    how many of these ppl are actually still watching hockey?? exactly these people just wanted to see america win another medal they didnt care what sport it was in which is why i as an american was rooting for canada…at least they appreciate the sport not just the medal!

    @JimB667 Canada is without question better offensively. You guys could make like 3 teams to compete with our best. But, one could make an argument the U.S. is as good or maybe better defensively and with the goalies in net. I can't fucking wait until 2014, it's gonna be madness in both countries should the rematch(es) happen!! Canada & The U.S. really are the powerhouses in hockey at this point in time; better than the Swedes, Russians, and Fins.

    @JimB667 Every single position huh…….do you consider goalie a position because the USA's number 2 goalie is better than Canada's number 1…..as proven in the Stanely Cup Finals this past year.

    That doesn't even take into account team USA's number 1. And if you don't think that a goalie can single handedly win or lose a game for a team why don't you ask those Capfuck fans who didn't end up committing suicide or weren't arrested following Game 7.

    @bmrhojo1 yeah usa looks solid in net, hey im no luo fan but he can steal a game, or crumble miserably. I meant it more general terms,i mean i dont know if kesler langnbrunner or brown would make canada's B squad .

    @JimB667 I wont say that in terms of the forwards and the defenseman that Team Canada has to choose from isn't scary but as anybody who watches hockey will tell ya a hot goalie can steal anything. In that Gold Medal game Lou looked bad….the only reason he didn't cough up the gold medal to the Americans was because he had the likes of Keith, Pronger, Seabrook, Weber, etc….. patrolling in front of the net to clean up his mistakes.

    @JimB667 Hell I will maintain this till the day I die……IF that OT period was 5-on-5 instead of 4-on-4 the US anthem would have been heard at the end of the medal ceremony.

    I will continue to argue that fact that Canada getting the gold was not because of Ryan Miller. His defence failed him when he needed it the most. Goalies rely so much on D-men to stop or even slow down shots and make it eaiser for them to stop. Either way, it was the greatest hockey game I have ever seen (live)

    meanwhile in canada, theyre stock market crashed, suicide rates SKYROCKETED, riots broke out, people drowned in tears….for 30 min until cindy scored D: so he's kind of a national hero to canada. but he only saved canadians so that doesnt count. anywhoozle….USA!!! USA!!!

    @Rocko0 It has noting to do with Bettman i would love to see more Canadian teams but you guys simply dont have enough big city's or the number of people/money it takes to keep a NHL franchise alive that's why they stay in the US rumor has it to if they have to move the Coyotes during the summer there going to Seattle or Portland so the coyotes will be staying in the US even if they have to move from Phoenix this summer…

    @Rocko0 Portland already has an arena set up and Gary Bettman has them set up to move most likely to Portland not Quebec City were have you been this whole hockey season Portland is what everybody in the NHL is talking about. Seattle is building a hockey arena but the only thing with putting the Coyotes thier is it would be way to close to Vancouver so Portland will be the new home of the Coyotes sorry to kill your dream do some research before you talk….

    @Rocko0 Yeah i get what you saying but i watch the NHL hour with Gary Bettman every week and he seems sure that if he has to move the Coyotes they will be staying in the USA but lucky for you the Islanders are coming up in talks about weather or not they will have to move cause of thier Arena has a lease that is up in a year and the Owner of the Arena doesn't want the Islanders to remain there do to lack of Money the team is bringing in who knows what will happen just have to wait…

    These are terrible points. The reasons the soviets dominated the olympics in hockey for so long was the absence of nhl stars as professional hockey players were not allowed to participate in the olympics until 1998. look up the 1972 summit series and get back to me. maybe know the facts before you make idiotic comments.

    I've been reading some comments by Canadians elsewhere, and I don't get how some people are treating this as if Canada scored some sort of major upset victory. The Canadians were heavily favored against the USA in this game. It's certainly not as if Canada was the underdog.

    lol someones mad, and the only reason that usa had two goals was because babcock was on some crazy drugs and had fleury in the press box instead of in the net, we beat you with trash goalies
