Welcome back all right 12 game night honestly not too bad of a night uh kind of a fun one we had a bunch of overtime as well in the early ones and uh yeah and then the late games I I didn’t have the kind of tension I

Thought I might with Dallas and San josean I had to wear Arizona didn’t I more importantly this is a Shane D Jersey kind of had to all right so we’re going to start things off talking about Boston and Florida uh Swan versus bosski 27 seconds in Rodriguez berries a loose

Killed off two shots on that there and then on a Tic-Tac toe play makoy gets his first goal in 15 games he scores from hinen and zaka at 1743 I was talking about Norris Trophy uh potential favorites and there were there were questions about where’s makoy honestly

If makoy scored more points I think he’d get a lot more discussion for the Norris he doesn’t I agree he’s one of the best defenseman in the league but I get it uh 1856 though the Florida Panthers answer it’s Reinhardt from loose Arena and kulakov so it’s 2 to1 for Florida after

Pushy on a swayman hold turns into a fouron four off of that everything gets killed off it’s cleared out then after it’s done by Florida we had a fight between Marshon and mikola mikola wins with the pinfall really quickly uh Bruins press with 9 minutes left the

Panthers then get some pressure with 7 and 1/2 minutes left the shots are 8 to four Florida with 6 and 1/2 minutes left at 86 or at 1559 I’ll get there posto scores from makavo so poser knock um he’s reached 100 points in back-to-back seasons for Boston good on him and it

Makes it 22 after two third period Panthers had the only shot on net five minutes in neither team with a path to the net which favors Boston um I talked last night about LA and the way they play Boston is the same thing that and

It it can be boring to watch too I’m not g I’m not g to sugarcoat it just because it’s the team I cheer for it could be boring to watch but the Bruins would uh would basically not have a path to the net and then Florida finds

One Veri scores from McMan Larson and kachuck at 951 he buries that one on a rush so that puts Florida in the lead 3 to2 Bruins look to respond we get a power play for Boston that last 23 seconds I think that’s where Marshon went in the box so it becomes a minute

And 37 seconds of four on four everything gets killed off there uh the Bruins get another power play and they score on this one it’s Frederick from Marshon and Swan at 15 37 so there’s Swan with a power play assist and then at 1739 zaka he puts Boston ahead from

Poster knock and wspoon and yeah I mean they pulled the goalie they tried but Boston wins this one 4 to3 in Florida they go to 426 and 15 with the win with the loss Florida 46 21 and five so big win for Boston tonight shots on net 11

To8 Boston in the first 8 to4 Florida in the second 6 to5 Boston in the third final shots are 21 AP piece uh Power plays one for four for Boston 0 for three for Florida the hits 49 to 41 for Boston a lot of hits uh swayman

Saved 18 out of 21 and bosski saved 17 out of 21 so not the most exciting game Boston comes out of it with a win and we’ll see what they do from here next up uh the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Rangers it’s an 80s game that’s

The scoring it’s lotton from conne and sanheim shots are 4 to2 for the Flyers at 7 minutes we get oppressed by the Flyers at 8 minutes uh the Florida or Philadelphia ends up drawing a power play did it suck no uh paling has one that deflects in lotton with the assist

At 1137 so that makes it two nothing for the Flyers uh then we get a power play for New York after the Flyers had some pressure looking for another and on their power play the Rangers score it’s aan jab from Panera and Fox at 1528 that’s the only Power Play they had it’s

All they needed makes it 2 to one uh then there’s a near Miss for lafranier as they press uh the Rangers press in the final minute it stays 2 to1 Philadelphia after two third period 123 in Brad zinski wires one from the slot it was a good four check by kako he gets

It out from behind the net to Broad zinski who buries it Flyers look to respond but at 256 it’s lafrenier so he gets his first of the game and that gives the Rangers their first lead of the game does it last not that long at 645 connect knee scores to tie the game

Back up then there’s a near Miss for Foresters the Flyers press uh there’s a power play for Philadelphia does it suck well they had a power play goal earlier in the game so they got to make up for that and it’s a short-handed marker by troch venad with the assist at 934 and

Then the Rangers finish the kill so yep uh and then Tipp it at 1145 scores from frost so we had a lot of going back and forth at 1359 the range ERS answer again it’s laf frer with a second of the period from troch and panan and then at

1629 Tyson Forester ties it for Philadelphia so it’s 55 absolutely crazy third period in the overtime the Rangers control early and they would score Fox it’s post and in for him at 36 seconds troch and panan with the assists it’s a 6 to5 overtime win for the rangers they

Go to 4820 and four with the win with the overtime loss the Flyers 3627 and 10 they do get a point that’s Orton shots on net 15 to9 Philly in the 1 129 Philly in the second 148 Philly in the third the Rangers had the only shot of the

Second period there’s an early press by the canes but pul yarvi berries one on a rush he goes top corner too from Eller and Pon in at 241 Penguins press for another but eventually Carolina answers it’s orov from Drury at 11:17 so makes it 1-1 the canes would get some pressure

With 4 minutes left there’s a net feed daho that gets picked off and at 1809 rust puts Pittsburgh ahead again he scores from Crosby it was a Faceoff win and he buries it it’s two to one Pittsburgh after two third period good early back and forth Carlson to Crosby

Gets blocked a fight between n and guden takes place uh the canes press at 6 minutes there’s a power play for Carolina that’s Ked off off uh the shots are 11 to7 Carolina at the half uh the Penguins press with 9 1/2 minutes left the goalie pull happens with 216 left

There was an near Miss for gensel who is now a member of the canes he got a nice reception on his return to Pittsburgh but he had an near Miss there and then OK Conor hits the empty net from Crosby at 1804 they pull the goalie again

Crosby hits the empty net this time at 1937 the Penguins with a bit of a shocker they win over Carolina 4 to1 they go to 31 30 and 10 with the win with the loss Carolina 4 45 21 and 7 and with the Rangers winning Carolina losing

That gets a little bit of Separation at the top of the division shots on net 9 to8 Carolina in the 1 155 Carolina in the second 159 Carolina in the third Final Shots 39 to 22 for Carolina both teams go 0 for2 on the power play uh

Hits 18- 15 Pittsburgh katov saves 18 out of 20 Nadel kovich 38 saves on 39 shots pretty good night for Ned all right moving along Detroit and the capitals so for Detroit uh they needed the win tonight they really desperately needed the win tonight they do not get

It and really the thing that hurts here is this is the team they’re directly fighting for that last playoff spot what they have to hope for is that Washington passes Philly and that they can catch Philly but they’re three points behind the Flyers as well uh lion versus

Lingren in this one there’s an early press by Detroit we get a power play for the wings that’s killed off uh lens tonight after it’s done lingren holds on there oetkin tips one wide pucks cleared out uh shots are 40 Detroit 4 minutes in the Caps are getting Zone time but they’re

Left the Leafs get a power play so that rolls over to the second period New Jersey Up 2 to1 the Devils finish the kill at the start the second period no shots allowed uh to the Toronto power play but at 3:14 on a rush neander wires

W for his 40th of the Season Timmons and N with the assists and then at 451 on a stretch pass Matthews Barry’s won first 59th I do believe uh leushin and Brody with the assists but New Jersey would answer at 535 after a Faceoff win Meyer

Scores from brat and heer so this game was bonkers uh power play for the Devils that gets killed off three shots on it though pretty good power play Meer to Heir near Miss tarz has a rush chance that’s held and then Wilman at 1305 scores for New Jersey uh he buries a

Rebound Chris Tierney with the assist there makes it four to3 for New Jersey uh 115 left the Leafs get a power play so it is 4 to3 for New Jersey going into the third but again the Leafs on a power play Devils finish the kill two shots

For the Leafs in total on that power play the shots are 4 to2 Toronto four minutes and I just kept waiting for them to come back and win this I really thought well I mean they’re they they need this game right uh they’re they’re not that far ahead of Tampa this this

Game is important for Toronto uh tarz is a rush chance that’s held and it’s really the Jake Allen Show at this point so I had to put that on the board uh power play for the Devils that’s killed off the Devils have a two-on-one that misfires in fact they get stuck on two

Shots for a while the leaves press with 4 minutes left but at 1647 Jack Hughes on a breakaway just filthy moves uh he scores from Curtis Lazar so Toronto has to pull the goalie down by two and at 1851 Jack Hughes scores again so there’s three goals by somebody named Hughes in

This game one from Luke and two from Jack Lazar and Smith with the assists on that goal at 1851 makes your final score 6 to3 New Jersey goes to 36 33 and four they’re not mathematically eliminated I’m glad they’re they’re fighting through this Toronto 40 22 and9 and

Again they have to worry about Tampa Bay right behind him we may be setting up a battle of Florida in the first round which I’m perfectly fine with uh shots on Net 25- 10 Toronto in the first 10 a piece in the second 10 to 5 Toronto in

Leafs next up uh Vegas and Nashville this one Vegas had it in the bag and then they didn’t uh Nashville’s point streak is now at 18 it’s Peta versus Saros uh there’s a press by Nashville two and a half minutes but at 245 uh barbashev scores from eel and maraso so

It’s the standard you get some pressure Puck goes the other way and Vegas scores uh shots are four piece at four minutes at 508 Howen scores to make it two nothing from mantha and Carlson so uh for Vegas they’re up two nothing and then they press again at 7 Minutes

Janowski’s denied on a net Drive crossbar and out for Evangelista there’s a press by Nashville at 9 and 1/2 minutes the shots are 10 to8 for Vegas with 8 minutes left there’s a press by Vegas with 6 minutes left and at 1642 Vegas makes it 3 nothing it’s Theodore

From cter and Stevenson so it’s 3 nothing Vegas after one rough start if you’re Nashville and yet honestly they didn’t have a bad period of hockey they just didn’t get the saves they needed and and Vegas took advantage of their chances so second period we get a power

Tied at four so challenging that led to that power play goal and uh Vegas allowed Nashville to to get that 18 game point streak uh Vegas controls early but the puck gets turned over and Yosi would score from o and forsberg at 40 seconds Nashville wins 5 to four they were down

4 to1 going into the third they go to 4325 and four with the loss Vegas goes to 3925 and 8 so an overtime loss makes their third column go to eight from Seven shots on net 1411 Vegas in the first 158 Nashville in the second 138

For Vegas in the third and the only shot in the overtime was for Nashville it’s all they needed Final Shots both teams had 35 power plays 0 for two for Vegas one for two for Nashville uh the hits 47 to 17 for Nashville Peta

Saved 30 out of 35 Soros saved 31 out of 35 all right next up the Oilers and the Jets so it was Skinner versus huk in this one the shots are three to1 Winnipeg at three minutes we get a power play for the Jets that’s killed off

Skinner at this point is keeping this game scoreless playing quite well to start things out uh we had a fight between Perry and Stanley good tilt there uh the Oilers press they’re kept to the outside Peretti has a net feed that’s picked off nurse has a rush

That’s held uh Jets get some pressure to close it out but it’s 0 0 after one second period the Oilers press at 3 minutes uh but the Jets would open the scoring Appleton from Lowry and Connor at 443 the shots are 3 to2 for Winnipeg 7 Minutes in Heyman has a wraparound

That’s held the Oilers pressed with 9 and A2 minutes left and at 11:46 on a net Drive dry cidal scores uh Fogle and McDavid with the assist so McDavid getting closer to that 100 assist Mark uh the Oilers then look for the lead and they get it

Uh it is brown for mman CeCe at 1329 I’m very glad Connor Brown’s finally getting goals that’s three goals I think it’s in six games for him now after going scoreless before that for the whole season uh jets look to respond they go on a power play and it’s four minutes

And I feel like this was the turning point of the game they have a 4minute power play the Oilers kill it off uh 59.6 seconds left the Oilers then get a power play so that’s going over into the third period where the Oilers are already leading 2 to one uh the Jets

Finished the kill no shots for the Oilers on the power play the Oilers go back to the power play at last 16 seconds becomes a fouron four uh pan has a tip shot that saved McDavid to dry Sidle gets blocked everything gets gets killed off the Oilers clear it out after

It’s done uh teams trade turnovers the fans call when the referee doesn’t then the Oilers go back to the power play and now they get the 4minute power play and during the first two minutes Ryan nen Hopkins scores from McDavid at 6 minutes and 10 seconds to make it 3 to1 in favor

Of the Oilers however the Jets do kill off the other two minutes and then at 9:39 Dylan scores from shle and pan so that gets them within a goal and then Monahan scores from eers and pan exactly a minute later at 10 minutes and 39 seconds to tie the game at three Lowry

Then nearly gives the Jets the lead on the next shift uh the Oilers press with 7 minutes left with 206 left there’s a power play for the Jets Conor mcdavis was beside himself and there’s a reason because Dello High sticked his own player and the Oilers had to put a

Player in the Penalty Box box for something they didn’t do that was killed off usually when a when a team’s that angry they usually kill off that penalty so he go overtime the Jets controlled early Lowry has a shot that’s save the Oilers take over and at 122 Heyman

Buries his own rebound for his 51st of the Season Newen Hopkins with the assist the Oilers win in Winnipeg in overtime 4 to3 they go to 4323 and four they needed this uh the Jets 44 22 and six so uh they get one point instead of two the

Good news is not both teams that they’re chasing one tonight uh shots on that 13-1 Winnipeg in the first 18-4 Edmonton in the second 12-7 Edmonton in the third and 2 to1 Edmonton in the overtime including the shot that matters Final Shots 42 to 25 for the Oilers power

Plays one for four for Edmonton 0 for five for Winnipeg uh hits 38 to 28 for Edmonton Skinner saved 22 out of 25 huk saved 38 out of 42 so entertaining game AB absolutely all right next up Calgary and Chicago so I this is a mess isn’t it

Calgary Calgary’s now 3 and eight in their last 11 games but bless those Calgary announcers they they love those Flames they really do so it’s marra versus braic we get a power play for Chicago that becomes 57 seconds of five on three they don’t score during the

Five on three but they do score on the five on four it’s Seth Jones from kersevan Bard at 3:35 so Bard gets on the board uh and so the shots 5 and 1/2 minutes in are 7 to1 for Chicago not all that odd considering they had those two

Overlapping power plays uh kers as a net feed that’s picked off the Hawks press with 7 minutes left at 1515 on a two-on-one Dickinson Barry’s one Anderson and sliger with the assist so for sliger that’s his first NHL Point uh makes it two nothing for Chicago and I’m

Glad Landon sliger gets on the board because he’s been really noticeable in Chicago games since being called up so second period the shots are 3 to1 Calgary 5 minutes they just don’t have a goal we get a power play for Calgary that’s killed off they then get another

Huberto has a pretty good opportunity that’s held that one’s killed off as well uh weager uh bails out markstrom markstrom turns over the puck he comes out to play it yeah I remember that in Vancouver too so weager bails him out there otherwise it would have been three

Nothing uh the Hawks press with one and a half minutes left cadri has a three on two chance that’s blocked sliger denied his first NHL goal he almost had it it is still two nothing Chicago after two third period Flames press at three minutes near Miss for huberto Puck goes

The other way Hawks get some pressure and they score Dickinson uh with his second of the game from Anderson and slagger at 415 I thought it was funny today seeing like I think it was Thomas Dr that found out hey Dickinson’s having a good season he is he’s actually had a

Really good year in Chicago um flames look to respond the Hawks score they review it though to say no they didn’t score uh press by the Hawks at 8 minutes the shots are 9 to5 for the Flames at the half eventually Calgary breaks the shut out uh weager puts one pass to

Games on at the same time for a while there but from what I saw new hook had a really solid game for Montreal against his former team the abis press with two minutes left middle stads denied montmo holds on there it’s two to1 Montreal after one second period

That’s as close they get that’s Ked off a Habs press with 6 minutes left with 503 left the Habs go back to the power play and it’s 4 minutes so that definitely helps definitely helps you win a game in Colorado there’s a short-handed Rush by trennan new hook

Then has a one-timer that’s held uh ghouly fires one high the ABS pull it ABS kill it off then they pull the goalie Montreal hangs on they win in Denver two to one they go to 27 32 and 12 maybe they’ll get back to 500 after

All uh for Colorado they’re 46 21 and 5 so they lose a couple of points on this team uh they lose one point that they had on the Jets so the three points clear the Jets now shots on that 13 1811 Colorado in the first seven a piece in

Quickly uh coyotes press at 5 minutes the shots though are 4 to1 Columbus 6 and A2 minutes in we get a power or press by Columbus at 8 minutes and eventually they draw a Power Play which they score on it’s Boon Jenner from goodro and warnky at 11:45 uh then we

One from tolven and makes it 4 nothing with 115 left Seattle goes to the power play the team that generates power plays is generally the one that’s either a working harder or B is the one with the puck so Seattle and Seattle uh so that power play rolls over into the third
