Have to disagree. Not a non-hockey play as it was a simple check gone wrong – very hockey. So maybe a game or two suspension under your criteria, I’d just give him a penalty, Marchand was pretty dodgy & quick here.
The constant noncalls on players trying to intentionally injure Marchand is why Brad is forced to get justice his own way. If the Refs call open hunting season on Marchand he will give as good as he gets.
