On a shaky night on the back end, the Rangers went toe to toe with the Flyers and emerged victorious! Goals By Mika Zibanejad, Vincent Trocheck, Alexis Lafreniere (2X), Jonny Brodzinski, and Adam Fox proved too much for Philly, as New York topped Philly in overtime. The Rangers would clinch the playoffs with the win (and Carolina loss) and notching coaching win number 800 for coach Peter Laviolette. Here’s how it sounded on the home and away feeds! Man the Flyers announcers are homers. 😂😂 "The high stick on Fox wasn't much but he sold it"😂😂😂 If a stick hits you in the face it's high sticking no matter how much you sell it or not. And then the "no interference call on Trocheck" on the shorty. Give me a break. Konecny was primarily responsible for that collision. He skated into Trocheck's path. You think Trocheck should get a penalty because he didn't go down?😂😂…… That's yet another thing I love about being a Rangers fan. Of course Sam and Joe are Rangers fans also and love to see them do well, but they also give the opposition plenty of credit and are very rarely homers and make stupid comments like Philadelphia and Boston's announcers.
