If he doesn't wanna play young players explain Jeff Carter.. what's dumb is not seeing how fast he pulls the trigger on them when they are in… they never had much of a chance but sure
That's a terrible take, Kingerski. Nylander was a top producing player for WB/S, with that group of guys that starred last night, other than Puljujarvi. His chances with the Pens were on lines that just didn't match his cohesion that he had with the other group. You can't deny his skills, or write off what he's doing in Columbus. Can you write off what McCann is doing in Seattle? What Sprong has done elsewhere? These players had talent, but failed because of management, not effort.
There was some bangin' going on out there last night. Havent seen seen that all season. I think last night was the Jesse P show. He made all the difference…He's 6'4, a beast, and can play. His type of play is contagious. The Pens were as physical as the Canes. The days are gone where you can hope to be successful just by making pretty plays (especially in the playoffs where everything gets more physical). We didnt need Karlsson..we need more Jesse P's out there. a couple of them on the D.
The younger players played the system, were fast on the puck and went into the corners. But given the choice, sullivan would dress acciari and carter over the youngsters. He will not scratch a guy with a lot of term left on their deal. For example, would he ever scratch graves? He will not sit a player who is having a bad game. Phil Bourque called that out. He said that no matter what, its next shift over the boards. But the issue of passing up shots still exists. Through 36 minutes, they had 11 shots on goal.
Puuljarvi not exactly a kid as he’s been in the leagues since 2016. He’s a failed prospect. Ned is the story. They weee outplayed. The score doesn’t even remotely reprint the game.

What if the pens go on an actual tear?
Look at the shot chart!! Look at O zone possession time. They got played out of the building but the goalie saved them.

They totally got outplayed but it’s cool to see the young guys out there. The kids are alright
