Jets are going to get dusted again today. Caps are one out of a playoff spot and are motivated particularly against a struggling Jets team who have shown zero push back against adversity. They have given up around 40 shots per game in the last three and although they beat CBJ they were out shot against an essentially AHL team. Toffoli and Monahan need to show up today. Hope they turn things around today but it doesn't look good.

Dude Yes!!! Scott Arniel as our Head Coach next year will be fantastic!!! I absolutely love Coach Arniel & I would be incredibly excited to have him back as our HC next season.
I really don't want to lose Ehlers (I'd rather give up Kyle Connor instead) but if we're gonna trade Ehlers, I'd do a 3 way trade with the Rangers and Predators were we get Cody Glass, K'andre Miller, a prospect & future picks in return. Cody Glass & K'andre Miller are highly underrated and we greatly benefit our team. I'd do that if we're gonna trade Ehlers.
The Jets were done as soon as they fell behind 1-0. Meanwhile, the Avs were down 4-0 against the Pens, and didn't quit and came all the way back to win.
And that is the difference between the Jets and the other contenders. Those other teams find a way to get the wins, and the Jets just wilt. And the fact that the only solution the coaches try is to mix lines up to get them going is a problem.
Somebody said in one of the chats today that the team doesn't have the players that can make it happen and be the drivers when they get out of their system.
