His PPG avg rate jumped from 0.36 last season to 1.03 this season.
That’s a 180% increase.
You see that type of jump in 16-17 yrs old that end up 1st rounders. Florian is 19, but just in his 2nd junior season.
It’s hard not to get very optimistic with that type of progression.

I’m usually extremely cautious with prospects, but I could see Florian become a Lucic-lite type of player.

So do we put him in the AHL and see what he can do there sometime soon or..? What’s his next step.

If we sent him to the Mike Matheson school of learning to skate good he’d be a first round pick.

Just yesterday I was thinking it’d be nice if his last game saw him get 3+ points so he could be ppg. What a crazy season he’s had. Over 2.5x the points from last season
