If Slaf can get 2-3 more points before March 30th(his birthday) he'll become the #1 HABS player for scoring as a teenager. Henri Richard is #1 with 40 points at 19.
Unless there's a miracle and one of Gallagher or Anderson gets moved, I don't see much change this summer. I think there are still a lot of young forwards like Roy, Heineman, Mesar, Beck and Farrell that need to develop. The Habs are still in transition and are still rebuilding with some of Bergevin's contracts. Once those expire, I expect them to be a good team. Until then, they will continue to improve. But who knows, maybe there's some guy who wants to come to Montreal and Kent can make room. For example, I don't know if Sam Reinhart will resign in Florida. I think he will but what if he doesn't? So yes, I always expect the unexpected but my gut tells me not much will change this summer. My hopes for next season goes as follows:
-Dach remains healthy -I'd like Monahan to come back. -I'd like to see Heineman take Yloene's spot. -I'd like to see Mailloux get promoted. -Less injuries all around.
I know it might sounds crazy but I feel like armia and evans on a 4th line on a competitive team would be the perfect defensive line and able to kill penalties so I wouldn’t mind give them under 2m contract

I wanna see this team be competitive like the Wings or Blues next year, I dont expect the playoffs, just wanna see more wins and a much better balance in the lineup
Only D the Habs would draft in my opinion is Zayne Parekh other than him it’s going to be a forward that they pick… Zayne Parekh will be a dynamic OFD and I would be okay with getting him, But most likely it’s a forward if one is available that has more offensive upside than Zayne Parekh… Habs Fans needs to stop thinking about Cayden Lindstrom there is absolutely no chance we get him he’s going top 4 in my opinion… The players Montreal likely takes are going to be Cole Eiserman, Berkly Catton, Tij Iginla, Liam Greentree or Brandsegg Nygard… If you are a Habs fan you should be praying they do not take Greentree or Nygard lol… Catton, Eiserman and Iginla are the forwards that have the highest upside and are probably available around 5-7.
last no lol Sean trade made it clear, the Canadiens will tank for an other 2-3 seasons MINIMUM. we need to stack good players not give them away for a second round.we so many D man its unreal we need 3 right handed D and 3 left D that would be a start then good forwards to help WIN lol

Good show Drew, Im looking forward to next year. I think management knows that making the playoffs next year is whats best for the development of the team now. We certainly haven't seen this winning culture yet.
