  1. I have been on the yes side of Slaf since the picking. We need big wingers. Shane Wright is not a first line center. Slaf is a first line winger

  2. yo nice video, i like the efforts on the editing and all!

    slafshotsky on fire! 🔥

  3. Ive been here for a while and have been on the side that Slaf will be a good player. Considering hes only 19 and shows this much growth in his game I think that the Rantannen celing may actually be hit.

P.S: Love what youre doing man im happy to see you back to making content. ❤🎉

  4. I enjoy reminding all the "he's a bust" people that I said a year ago that he is only an 18 year old big kid trying to learn the north American ice. Relax, give it a couple of years and you will see that he will be a beast. I guess I was wrong… It only took him one year to be the beast.

  5. He has 10 goals like Ovi, he's the next OVI! lol. He has confidence and he will score 30+ soon enough.

  6. been saying this since he got drafted, most people doubted him being the best pick in the draft, honestly, he's a touch better than Cooley imo because he is the most well-rounded player of that draft, when we decided to put him on the top line, he became one of the top 3 players on the team. He's built for Suzy and Caufy

  7. I remember You Tropical 🙂 how you fought and protected Slaf from the beginning, from the first moment Slaf put on the Montreal jersey agains the majority of haters . I remember the hostile comments here . I want to THANK YOU for your hard work and these hatters should applaud you and ask for forgiveness 😂, that you never gave up on Slaf and believed in him . All the best 👍

  8. Nice video! I was never excited about Shane Right, but I was liking Cooley a lot. This said, Slaf, in the long term is a no brainer. Cooley can get hurt at any moment and his skill level although impressive will reach its maximum sooner. Slaf will continue progressing longer because he has tools which Cooley will never have: Size, weight, and reach. This gives Slaf a long term advantage and a longer career high. Both players are amazing, and both will have good careers. This said, we don't know how Sane Right will turn out. He could still suprise us and turn out to be the best of the three, and could turn out a complete player like a certain Patrice Bergeron. It will certainly be interesting to check out these players throughout their careers.

  9. Slafkovksy should've played with Kirby Dach this year but we all know what happened.

Now, that being said, Slafkovsky playing with Josh Anderson really helped his body confidence. I think the best thing that happened to Slafkovsky was that he had to carry that Anderson line while Josh had cement in his gloves. Really boosted Slaf's confidence and forced him to play a physical game with Anderson. Josh Anderson is one of the best power forward in the league imo, maybe not the best hands, but he's a puck warrior. I personnally believe that Slafkovsky will be the best powerforward in the league in 2-3 years, TOPS because he will be able to do what Anderson does, but Slafkovsky has some crazy shooting potential.

  10. Good to see you back Trop. They've been specifically working with Slaf on his shot, it's paying off. Repeating myself, Hughes said Slaf was drafted for the player he would develop into in a few years, I stood by that. His size was a factor, Hughes acknowledging the team/prospects lacked size up front. Last season he was thrown on to an NHL size rink when he wasn't ready with 4th line players and ice time. This season his numbers are comparable to Cooley's with the added bonus of what his size and reach will add at a 200 foot level as he progresses. It's looking like Hughes got what he was after in a draft with no projected generational talent…and Wright was the hype, not Cooley.

  11. Pat Burns put Joe Thornton on the 4th line when he started with the Bruins. Not everyone is going to make an impact last like a Selanne or Lemieux. It takes a few years sometimes

  12. He's no first liner.
The Habs management are so intent on showing off their top pick they play him top minutes and PP.
    LISTEN UP.
HE IS CHOKING HIS LINE MATES WITH HIS INABILITY TO WIN BATTLES AND CONTROL THE PUCK.
HE WILL GET 15 TO 20 GOALS AND COST HIS LINE MATES 20 EACH.
    Learn the fn game.

  13. We didn’t know he had such an amazing shot at the time. Now if he can develop more acceleration and keep the puck longer he’ll be an all star.

  14. Every draft pick is a piece of clay. Looking back at the pick it’s clear Habs management saw one big hunk of clay that could be molded into a top line forward.

  15. May not be the most skilled guys but his work ethic and mental toughness is really good and you cannot teach how to be that big that young
