It was a lot more fun when Detroit were the ones losing six straight after winning six straight.
The difference in drive between these two teams tonight was disturbing. You could see it in their body language alone. We got a pack of fuckin losers on our hands. 0 heart for the past few seasons.
1 pm game vs jets Saturday, automatic loss. Game the next day, it’s a back-to-back so another automatic loss
Sorokin’s 8.25 million hasn’t even kicked in, but yeah, it’s the defense’s fault he gets five holed constantly from the goal line and allows -2 xGA per game down the playoff push stretch. What a joke. This game goes to OT if he just has an average game.

Detroit wanted to go to the playoffs and the Isles wanted to go to their golf retreat. That is what we saw.

The bright side is this is good for our potential draft position. We play the Jets on Saturday and Devils on Sunday which we are likely to lose. Depending on results we could end up in a position for a Top 10 pick by Sunday.
What gets me is… the Isles players, knew how big this game was… AND STILL FELL APART SECOND PERIOD!! Like clockwork.
They play a knowingly weak and so beatable Ottawa Senators team… served up to the Islanders on a silver platter…. AND STILL COULDN’T WIN!!
They get destroyed by playoff bound teams like Carolina, rags and LA.
