   Sean Burke’s with the horns was the first mask young me thought was *cool*. Maybe not up to today’s “standards” of awesome masks, but holds a special place for me.

    Ironically, I don’t remember him playing in this but the [blackwood covid mask](https://goaliemaskcollector.com/blogs/news/new-arrival-mackenzie-blackwood-2021-new-jersey-devils-goalie-mask-game-worn-painted-by-sylabrush-shell-made-by-dominic-malerba) is pretty amazing. mack black’s helmets mark a return to a more classic, heavy linework that looks great on tv.

    Schmid’s mask should’ve included some anime esthetic imo

    A Pokeball of some sort on one side and Kaneda’s bike on the other would’ve been the perfect motif

    The guy was literally named after an anime movie and his brother after an anime character
