Hronek has been sensational this season, and is inarguably the best D partner Quinn Hughes has ever played with. 7 is too high. He's not the same if he isn't playing with Hughes. Remember the Anson Carter contract? Exactly.
Heres the thing. When hes not playing with hughes, his play is on par with soucy but with a harder shot. Hes not worth over 6. Id rather use that money to resign other players like zadorov joshua desmith. Other teams will pay a pretty penny for him as well as Right handed D on the market are not common

The Canucks bait for a team taking him on would be that the other team could potentially get him for less than signing him to an offer sheet. I think you’d be looking at 2-3 firsts. The canucks could dangle him for a first plus a prospect at the very least.
Here is my Canucks core: Petterson, Miller, Hughes, Garlan, Hronek, Besser, Hoglander and maybe Zadorov and Sutter too. Am I missing anyone?
7 is too much and 8 is WAYY too much, trade for assets and use those to acquire a new young RHD, or just trade him for a RHD straight up
