Edmonton Oilers Make Interesting Roster Move! Vladimir Tarasenko/ Sean Walker Trade?

So just a reminder: Holloway is WAIVERS EXEMPT. We can park him, get 100% of his $925,000. Gagner is $775K only so if it's literally a money thing isn't it better to send Holloway down, save the bucks and bring him back when you can?
Connor Brown is built for playoff hockey, he will wear down the opposition D men during a 7 game series. He has size it makes sense Gagne. Even though I like Sam, hopefully he clears.
Its definitely a head scratch but what I want to know is why put Sam G on Wavers when brown is worse then him.. they must be seeing something that we the fans are not getting
I think that it's mostly because Connor Brown was Jeff Jackson's client and Sam Gager was not. Connor Brown kills penalties, but Sam has been a far superior 3rd/4th line player for the Oilers this season.
Connor brown is more impactful and a better player than Sam period end of discussion. Who cares if Sam scores some cute goals when it doesn’t matter. Connor has made plays for our team. Love Sam love what he’s done Connor isn’t an all star but he plays like mark stone on the defensive side. So good at disruption and take aways killin the 3rd of 4th lines momentum. Leading to positive out come when our top lines come on. We’ve lost the 3rd 4th line battle to much in to many season and Connor is helping that a bit, Sam is not regardless if he scores a few random goals.

I actually got to go to a game that brown got a point
He’s just less likely to clear on Friday if we add players then if he clears now he doesn’t have to clear later this week.
