The league leading Boston Bruins flexed their power over the basement dwelling Ottawa Senators in a 6-2 victory last night.
Brandon Piller and Ross Levitan break down the game that saw the Sens collapse in the third period yet again, this time allowing three unanswered goals. David Pastrnak had a hat trick and Linus Ullmark stole the show as the Sens couldn’t play a full sixty minutes. We know this team can play a strong 60 minute game and even win against top teams.. we saw it less than a month ago against dallas/vegas/Florida.. gotta figure out why they can't stay consistent
You guys COULD talk about the Coaching, afterall, the Team is playing much worse with 2 LEGENDS gehind the bench. The are now 18th in Goals Scored per/gm and they were as high as 8th with DJ. They are now the 5th worst in the League, in Goals Allowed per/gm. They're 30th on the PK AND 27th with the man advantage. For 2 guys who came with SO MUCH PROMISE AND FAN FARE, what's going on? Those with the Sun were giddy with excitement. I could ask what's wrong but also "what have they done right"? Can they NOT motivate the players? Is AlFredo not the PP Guru and Jacques not the Defence and Structure Specialist? Are Greig and Joseph being used inteligently? I understand it can bite you in the ass to point out these issues particularly when Staios hand picked those who are failing miserably…but it shouldn't be ignored entirely. As I've said, I desperately want my Sens in the Draft Lottery, so don't mind the losses. As long as they don't WASTE another high draft pick. We all know where the holes are I'm not confident the answers coming from Belleville. You can measure the health of a Franchise by how good the Big Team AND Farm Team are. The Sens Farm Teams have been awful.
