One good check against a top opposing player can change a series and I don’t mean injuring him but making him tentative to go after pucks in the corner or in front of the net.

Roflmfao, bcoz it was all they could do? I explained before about how paying 5 players 2/3rds of your cap means you get a third for most of your team meaning anyone not top 5, gets entery level contracts which means you only get to trade for prospects and bottom 2 players, it is nothing special you are getting…they are paying you take him away from their team. 😂

I don't normally like making predictions, especially after that whole marriage thing worked out…sigh ") but I actually think Treliving is manoeuvring here, and I'm talking about the Edmundson acquisition, curiously another leftie! I really believe Treliving is showing a clear distinction between an incompetent GM (Dubas) and a real NHL GM.
Dubas was incapable of negotiating and plundered picks and prospects he couldn't keep, for a single second round spanking! He seems to be "improving" the Pens also! ")
Trelivimg has managed to improve with virtually nothing in the way of picks and prospects beyond late round picks and low value prospects and has managed to pick up defensive help having other teams retain which have improved the sad sack defence and left room for another big move or two!
I really am starting to believe Parayko is about to become a Leaf, the greatest team on God's green and blue earth, and His obvious favourite!
It also doesn't hurt that scientific testing has proven beyond all shadow of doubt that the hottest chicks on earth also prefer Leafs and love fans especially podcasters and of course, all hot chicks love, adore and cannot resist extremely handsome "mature" (physically, not mentally) Canadian born and raised manly men who embrace their toxic masculinity!
