  1. Wow, this discussion is getting intense! It's fascinating to see such diverse perspectives coming together in one place.😚

  2. And with that -1, Bedard has officially tied Faber's points (38p), with a -38 +/-.

Bedard may win the Calder Trophy but people with a working brain understands that Faber and Stankoven work harder and better than Bedard.

  3. Kopitar, with the 3 point night now sits at 1,199 career points. I would've loved to see him score the hat trick for his 1,200th tonight, but unfortunately he just fell short. I hope to see him get number 1,200 in front of the L.A. crowd tomorrow against Minnesota.

As for the game, the Kings weren't perfect, but they obviously did more than enough to win this one. I know it's the tanking Blackhawks, but Talbot was fantastic too. He allowed two goals, but he had basically no chance on either of them. The first one redirecting off the leg of Foligno in front of the net on a 5-on-3 situation, and the second one being deflected off a Kings glove while Talbot was screened. I've really enjoyed his presence in net over the course of this season, and I'm glad that at 36 years old, he still can be a strong starting goaltender in the NHL.

Tomorrow is extra imprtant for the Kings, who desperately need to string some wins together. Minnesota is no easy opponent, but L.A tends to play them well, even if the games do get a bit out of hand scoring wise. Hopefully, they pull through tomorrow, and secure the 2 points.

    Go Kings Go!
