It's funny, last summer it really was looking like the Jets were going to be going through a major rebuild and I was absolutely dreading the inevitable'are the Leafs going to acquire both Schiefle and Hellebuyck and when' daily reports. Then Chevy extended them and made more brilliant moves at the deadline and got Neiderreitter extended as well. The Jets have an exciting roller coaster vibe don't they?

I'd love to see the Jets make a deep run . I'd like to think with what the players they added near the deadline that they could be looked at the as the favs in the west if it weren't for the Oilers dramatic turn around . The problem is that the Western conference has alot of good teams who are primed to also make a deep run .

The Winnipeg Jets went all in without sacrificing the future. They might even be able to sign Monahan and/or Toffoli to contract extensions. They have as good a chance as any to win the Stanley Cup this spring. No guarantees. Fingers crossed. In Chevy I Trust. Go Jets Go.

I used to be a fan of teams but since they trade players so much I'm just a Tyler Toffoli fan now.
Chevy should sign L Broisait to a contract, then trade him in the summer for a great Dman.
