The first period was a lot like the game on Tuesday was it almost inevitable Detroit was going to have to really throw everything out at you guys in the second period given their losing streak yeah I mean those are that’s two desperate teams going at it tonight um
Obviously we’re we’re on their heels we’re chasing them and they haven’t won in a while and um you know we’re in our we’re in their home building and we come out um you know flying around and obviously they’re going to have a bit of
A push back and um I thought you know it got us on our heels a little bit we kind of try to start forcing stuff and uh made the game a little bit easier on them and um obviously they get some momentum and then um now it’s a you know
Back and fourth game and then they get a lead and now we’re chasing so um I thought it was a hard fought game by by both teams obviously that comes not what we want but we don’t really have time to dwell on it um we got I don’t know how
Many games coming down the stretch here but um we need all of them so we just we got to focus on one game at a time we can’t can’t dwell on this one it worked early for you guys I mean there was a very efficient first period for know on
The road I mean you guys just you know dominated them almost yeah um I think just putting pucks behind their D making their durn back to go get it um I thought every time we did that they um turned it over to us and that’s where we got our ozone
Time um and I think in the second we were a little sloppy with Pucks in the neutral zone and um gave him some easy transition going back the other way and um didn’t really make them go back and and get it um you know which made it the
Game harder on ourselves um that was kind of obviously the the key coming into tonight and I thought we executed it the first really well and then I I thought our third was great too but um second was a bit of a let down k at the end
There where you you did put the puck in the net what did the refere did you did he say blew the whistle or did he say you pushed it in put under B uh he was he was telling me that it was already covered um I I don’t know it was
Obviously pretty big scramble in front I couldn’t really see I was just trying to poke away at it and saw it went in so I’m not sure if it was covering or not and um obviously it doesn’t matter now so got to like I said Turn the Page move on
Um got a big one against Seattle power play you guys score in 15 seconds but that one early in the second you didn’t do much I mean that kind of life on the power play where you have a lot of it could be frustration or can be a lot of
Quick success yeah I think um the power play in the second I thought kind of replicated our five on five play in the second I thought we were a little stingy um with the puck coming through the neutral zone myself included just um a little Rel uh hesitant to dump
Pucks in if if there wasn’t a play to be made and turn it over and made made life a little tougher on herself having to go back and break out um you know a handful of times that that eats a lot of time up on the power play so gives them momentum
Too was that bad ice out there was that bad ice out there it looked like you got a lot of guys were following a lot uh yeah I mean I I thought it was a little sticky um wasn’t a huge fan of it but at the
Same time both teams are playing on it so it’s it’s not like it hinders one team over the other so both teams are playing on it and um you play on Good Ice to play on bad ice so it doesn’t really matter you guys get a little bit

Know making them work to break out and trying to come through us as as F men unit and um when we had opportunities to put it to I thought we did a pretty good job of that and thought we had bodies there um they did a good job block in
Shots and get in Lanes so it’s not always the easiest to to find a way to get down there
