Yakov Trenin (Nashville Predators) and Brandon Duhaime (Minnesota Wild) were acquired by the Colorado Avalanche on March 7th, 2024 in a transaction sending Colorado Avalanche 2023 Draft Pick and Prospect Jeremy Hanzel to Nashville and a 2026 3rd Round Draft Pick to Minnesota. Trenin and Duhaime joined the Avalanche for morning skate on March 8th ahead of their game against the Minnesota Wild where both made their Colorado Avalanche debut.

Brandon Duhaime is a friend of mine. You will enjoy his high side PK. He worked hard on those strides last summer! Enjoy his company, he will be missed here in Minnesota! I will always support him, wherever he goes! Go BD! Go lift it!
