I remember doing this as a senior. It’s sad to look over at your best friends and know that you’ll never get to go battle on the field together. All those miserable days in the summer doing two a days. Friday nights getting hyped up and then walking down the steps with all the boys club kids lining the steps slapping your pads as you walk down. Then running through the sign on the field as the air raid sirens blare. Then after giving it your all. Until you had nothing left and hugging your teammates as you enjoyed victory or on rare occasions suffered defeat. All those miserable days in summer were worth it. Roll Wildcats Roll.
