Hello and welcome back to SF at Giants recap in today’s game it was the Giants versus the Mariners unfortunately the Giants they did lose 8 to three uh it is spring training the wins and losses don’t matter but there were a lot of things that to be a little worried about

And a lot of things to be kind of excited about and to look forward to so we’re going to go over all that in today’s video make sure to subscribe to keep up with all the games and Recaps I’ll have one after the other game that

Also went on today because it was a split Squad day so I will go over that later in the video right now I’m going to be going over the Giants and Mariners game specifically so uh Luis montos he had a double he did really well today uh

Same with Dave VR he had a double his double may have been a bloop since the game wasn’t filmed we don’t know whether Dave y’s double was a really nice solid hit with good contact or if it was just a lucky blooper into the Outfield that’s the problem with spring training and not

Having all the uh game film and everything but we’ll take it as it was a hard hit double and so good for Dave VR and the person who took advantage of that was Cas Schmidt getting in two RBI single scoring both of those guys and

Got two of the three runs today so good to see from case Schmid um he’s been shifting over to short stop because of Matt Chapman who will be mainly playing third base and since we got Matt Chapman they placed JD Davis on waivers which I

You guys know my thoughts on that I went on a little bit of a rant about why we got Matt Chapman and not go for pitching because we addressed a problem that didn’t existed and so I don’t know what we’re going there and JD Davis is a

Really good solid player why we not keep him or get something out of a trade or what will go on with him but he’s on waivers right now so I’ll keep you updated on anything if anything happens with that um but for this game Lamont W

Jr he also had a single good to see from Wade he’s been swinging the bat really well this spring and then the pitching though today was not very good uh we had a lot of players you probably never heard of um Juan Sanchez he pitched really well though he went two innings I

Think he had three strikeouts and didn’t allow a run but everyone else they’re going to be in the miners and you’re not going to really be seeing those names soon and they didn’t perform really well so not much to go over there uh Jun Le

He had a hit today in the game but he did strike out uh the strikeouts were a little up um Tyler Fitzgerald he’s kind of had a slow spring he started out pretty good and then lately he’s been striking out a lot so keep an eye on Fitzgerald see how

He’s going to do don’t overreact but we’ll see kind of what the competition is there if he’s going to be in the Outfield if he’s going to compete for that short stop position with Ahmed and Luciano and everything that’s happening there but we’ll see how everything plays
