Miller has been great away from him and Schneider has looked like he can take a more increased role. Trouba needs to be 3RD when he’s back.

His nmc gets downgraded this offseason. I think Gortons timetable was to be able to trade him this year to clear space for young guys earning bigger pay

To be fair, we also went 7-2-1 without Fox when he went down with an injury… Not saying one way or the other whether Trouba’s absence has helped us in some way, but correlation is not necessarily causation. I think the trade deadline moves have played a very large part, we’re just a much more well rounded team now.
I’m just gonna enjoy this run we’re on right now.

Considering how Trouba seemingly went from 100% to gone for 3 weeks due to an injury we never saw, I’d take a healthy wager that it’s been a nagging injury affecting him for weeks.
Miller does need to stay paired with Gus, though—not sure why but Miller may need to be paired with someone where he’s the top dog. After hundreds of minutes playing Robin to Trouba’s Batman—that’s just good for everyone and a refelection of great player development.

Anyone find it odd that all of a sudden he has a 2 week injury? I wonder if things happened behind the scenes.
Hopefully he works on his game. Defenseman in this league need to be able to skate, and read plays. 2 things I think is lacking in his game.
