As someone with fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease and arthritis at the age of 33, I completely understand injuries and how much they suck. I really hope he didn't reinjure the same thing and it's not career ending cuz I've seen that a few times.

With injuries, some players are unlucky and a lot of them just return too soon after getting hurt, which makes it much easier to get reinjured or pick up new injuries. It continues until they accumulate Evel Knievel style medical records, at which point their broken bodies are only held together by bailing wire and prayer.

Marchmant not getting a suspension for that hit is a joke. Aside from the fact that it's late, there's major head contact, as evidenced by a major cut on his nose and blood gushing down his face.
Reminds me of the Seattle vs Colorado playoff series last year when Eberle had a really bad boarding hit against Cogliano. Fractured his neck in two places. Eberle didn't even get a 5 min major. Let alone a suspension.

It feels like it’s always the star players that suffer long-term injuries. Never wanna see anyone hurt but when’s the last time you heard of a 4th-line forward being out for the year? It’s always a top-six forward or top-4 D-man.

Brad Treliving is not doing a good job at all. Earlier this year, Pospisil was put on waivers. I'm thinking, "Perfect! Treliving drafted him, and the Laffs need exactly what he brings! What happens? He goes through waivers. I couldn't believe it and voiced it on The Hockey Guy piece back then. That's my "I Told You So". If a nobody like me knew this was mistake, what the heck is going on in Toronto? Sorry, just needed to get that out of my system.

Well the Yotes deal with ASU goes through the 24-25 season with an option to extend it to the 25-26 season, so they have a home for the next year, potentially 2, so the NHL might let them see if they get the land even with an auction but it could be a case of "If you don't get the land, that's it, we're moving you." and if they do, maybe they can work something out with ASU to stay there until the Arena is built? But yeah I think if they don't get the land, then that's probably it for the Yotes in Arizona…at least this iteration of the Yotes anyway.

I love all the jets fans whining about the suspension 😂 how do you look at that and say “yup that’s clean” there’s nothing going on in Winnipeg or Manitoba you’d think they’d read a rulebook sometime this perfectly follows the contact to head penalty to a T. This hit belongs in the ref training program as a prime example of a player blatantly making 0 effort to avoid head contact which coincidentally IS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE PENALTY 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
